Innovation in motion at VKI!
We are thrilled to announce the arrival of our Large Payload Motion Hexapod, funded by Flanders Innovation & Entrepreneurship (VLAIO) of the Flemish Government.
This cutting-edge kinetic structure features a mobile platform connected to a fixed base via six synchronized linear electric actuators. It can generate motion for loads up to 1.5 tons along six axes (3 translational: Tx, Ty, Tz and 3 rotational: Rx, Ry, Rz), with all combinations possible. The system offers impressive linear and angular displacement ranges (up to ±700 mm and ±34°) and delivers high dynamic performance with speeds up to 0.8 m/s and acceleration up to 1 g.
